We've partnered with local Minnesota restaurant, Holman's Table, to bring you a candle and cocktail pairing.
The heart of gathered garden herbs in Hinoki Sage are brought out in the thyme infused simple syrup, and the salted citrus kiss is showcased in the fresh lemon juice.
Recreate this pairing with the recipe below.
2 oz gin (used MN local, Earl Giles)
1 oz cider/thyme/rosemary simple syrup (made with equal parts white sugar and unfiltered apple cider, bring to a boil with thyme sprigs and rosemary. Strain and cool.)
.5 oz fresh lemon juice
Combine in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously until the shaker is very cold - almost icy to the touch. Strain into a coupe glass, and garnish with fresh thyme.
